Pasadena Flea Market

Two weeks ago my mom and I went to Pasadena and we stopped by at the flea market. I've heard good things about the Pasadena Flea Market, so we went to check it out.  It was indeed the biggest and best flea market ever.  It was packed with antiques and vintage items.  Here are some pictures I took while browsing around.

After a long walk, finally we are here...

$8 bucks to get in.. not bad!

love the hand writing

love this color, i painted my dresser few months ago in this exact color

We enjoyed our time here.  We'll definitely come back.

Colorado Blvd.

I live in Orange County, I come to Pasadena every day to attend school and I haven’t explored around Old Town Pasadena.  So after the L.A. Times Holiday Bake-Off, I decided to stroll down Colorado Blvd.  There were so many unique stores and fancy restaurants.  All of my favorite retail stores were at the same side of the street.  I loved the architectural buildings and the mellow vide of this town.  I was taking pictures while walking and I felt like a tourist.  Even though it rained and dismissed my day early it was a fabulous day.  I have to come back here and finish my walk, I haven't reached the heart of Old Town Pasadena yet.

L.A. Times Holiday Cookie Bake Off 2012

This morning I went to school for the L.A. Times Holiday Cookie Bake-Off.  50 kinds of cookies were baked and I helped plate them.  L.A. Times Food Editor Russ Parsons and other judges tasted and graded the 50 finalists to choose the 10 best cookies.  The 10 highest-scoring cookies will be announced on the L.A. Times blog tomorrow.  I had so much fun plating these lovely cookies.
